Since I've launched this site on 14 January 2008 I've been searching the internet for useful content on building web traffic starting from scratch with:
(a) Absolutely no traffic at all
(b) No content
(c) A fairly standard Drupal based website framework

I thought others may also be interested in:
- how my traffic is growing
- who my main sources of referrals are and
- what techniques caused the biggest short and long term growth in visitor traffic.

For this reason, I've decided to share my real-time administration pages relating to:
(a) My real-time site traffic
(b) Top Referrers
(b) Recent Hits
(c) Top Pages

I will keep this page updated with new techniques for traffic generation and the dates they were introduced so that you can see the real-time impact of these.

To summarise, today 13 February 2008, I'm averaging at least 100 unique visitors a day. I know that's barely anything, but just one month ago I had no visitors at all and therefore makes it all the more worthwhile to keep track of from now on!

Please feel free to post any questions relating to this project in the forum area to me or other visitors. I am very open to suggestions on new traffic generation methods to try out. We can use this site as a testbed and all learn from it together!
